This is a LARGE CONTEMPORARY PAINTING by SANTA FE, SOUTHWEST ARTIST WALT WOOTEN. Painted in 1994, painting is titled, "Not Quite Like it Used to Be". This piece was purchased in 1996 from DULEY JONES GALLERY in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Wooten was born in Chicago in 1939, and attended the Art Institue of Chicago, 1959-1962, and Roosevelt University, Chicago, 1970-71. He is well known for presenting Native American works in a unique, contemporary fashion.
This unframed piece measures 38 1/4" by 40 1/8".
