This is a LARGE painting, oil on masonite, signed lower right, VIRGENE HAWTHORNE, in what appears to be its original redwood frame.
Age: Most likely 1930's-1940's
Condition: Very good to excellent, colors are vibrant and crisp, painting does have an appealing unfinished feel to it.
Dimensions: Frame measures approx. 42 3/4" by 36 1/2", painting is about 35 3/4" by 29 1/2".
