As many of you already know, we have finally reached the end of our run here on Newport Avenue in San Diego's Ocean Beach Antique District.... And...it's been a long one... nearly 22 years!! We first opened this store in 1993.. John and I have spent over half of our adult lives here, and now its time to move on to a new adventure... a new beginning..
The good news is.. We will be going out with a BLAST!!! We are in the process of liquidating our 7,000 sq. ft. showroom... our long term, faithful dealers are offering wonderful deals in their spaces... many of them are clearing out their houses and storage and hauling in great new merchandise... However, time is of the essence as our dealers will be vacating their spaces by the end of this month (March)...
As well, John and I are bringing in new merchandise daily, and we will continue the store wide sale throughout all of April and most of May, and will be finally closing the store near the end of May...
Although we will be leaving this great space, we will continue to have a presence on Newport Avenue, as we will begin setting up retail spaces the first of May right next door to us within the Newport Avenue Antique Center, a big thank you to owners Scott and Craig!! In addition, we are in the process of securing a warehouse space where we will focus on our internet business as well as plan on holding private appointments for the thousands of wonderful clients and friends who, right from the beginning until the very end, have been so supportive of our business and so enthusiastic about what we do.... We are also hoping to hold monthly events by invitation where clients can experience a shopping spree through our warehouse.. So be sure and provide us with your email address and other contact information, either through the email address on this blog or upon your next visit to the store..
We extend our best wishes to the new owner of the building and his tenants.. We hope that they enjoy prosperity and success... but most of all.... we hope that they find the same fulfilling and enriching experience that John and I have shared for all of these years within these four walls...
